Abstract
Nowadays, more and more Taiwanesehave been affected by cancers over the past thirty years, and it has been one of the major causes of death in Taiwan. The increased incidence rates of cancer for people at younger ages are marked, but with the appropriate knowledge about cancer, the chances of curing aremuch higher. Therefore, this researchfocuses on the knowledge level of cancer for university and graduate students. It also investigates the correlations amongtheir experiences on Internet health information use, students’trustlevel on the information, and their general knowledge related to cancer. The differences of those variables among various demographic background participants are also analyzed. Data were collected from a University located in Taipei, and a total of 1, 079 valid samples were gathered through online surveys and used for analysis. The findings are listed below:

1. Compared with similar research, university and graduate students in Taiwan tend to have less general knowledge about cancer, and female students havesignificantly higher scores on the test about general cancer knowledge.

2. Overall, students have more interest in influenza, women’s health, and mental health issues than they do in health informationrelated to cancer.

3. Trust in online health information is higher with professional sources, than it is with non- professional sources. Females’ trust in online health information is significantly higher than males’.The experience on social networking sites ispositively and modestly correlated with students’ information trust level.

4. Students’ experiences in online health information use and their trust in online health information are significantly, positively correlated.
