台灣的中小型傳統產業曾經帶領台灣的經濟成長,利用外銷出口創造了台灣的經濟奇蹟,亦靠著成熟的技術提供了民生必需品或基礎工業,提供了眾多的就業人口。故傳統中小型企業對於台灣有其舉足輕重的地位,只是這樣重要的產業,隨著整體經濟環境改變、新興產業的出現、人們的生活習慣改變,陷入了許多危機。
  雖然不同產業類型公司,所面臨問題與遭受衝擊程度不同,對於轉型再造時所需要的支援會有差異,但本研究認為相似規模(中小企業)相似特色(傳統產業)在面對企業轉型時的困境、問題、以及轉型的方式,其概括性的概念是相同的, 
 本研究期待透過科學方法,找出適用概括性傳統中小型產業轉型的管理重點,而非僅只適用於各自不同的產業。
  本研究選擇了五家不同產業的個案公司作深入訪談,並透過質化研究的方法期待傳統中小型企業欲執行轉型再造時,可以透過以下幾點訪談問題所歸納出的結果,來得到有用的資訊,藉以有效掌握領導企業轉型的重點。

四、轉型在造時的組織調整適應問題
五、傳統產業轉型再造所需的外部支援

Small and medium-sized traditional industries in Taiwan has led to Taiwan's economic growth, exporting them to create Taiwan's economic miracle, also Kaozhu mature technology to provide the necessities or basic industries, and provided many of the employed population. Therefore, the traditional small and medium enterprises for its pivotal position in Taiwan, is just such an important industry, with the overall economic environment has changed, the emergence of new industries, people's habits change into a lot of crisis.
Although not the same industrial type companies face temporary problems suffer from the impact of process level is not the same, transformation and recycling of the need of support will have poor abnormal, but this study believe that a similar size (SMEs) similar characteristics (traditional industries) in the face of business transformation difficulties, as well as transformation of the way, embracing the concept is the same,
  Look forward to working through the scientific method to identify management priorities applicable to the generality of the traditional small and medium-sized industrial transformation, rather than only been applicable to different industries.
This study five cases of companies of different industries for in-depth interviews, and through qualitative research methods to look forward to the results of traditional small and medium enterprises want to perform the transformation and recycling, can be summarized by the following interview questions to get useful information in order to effectively grasp the focus of the leading business transformation.
