In recent years, the concept of entrepreneurship has attracted a lot of attention. More and more new ventures are founded. With the growing of new ventures, recruitment becomes an important but difficult issue for startups. For a new venture, hiring a wrong or non-proper employee usually leads to a waste of resources. In this paper, our target is to find out the consider factors on recruiting new ventures early employees by literature review. Moreover, by applying Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), we hope to find out other new factors of recruiting and the weight ranking of those consider factors.
According to the result, the ranking of the main factors start with passion, skills, functional expertise, industry experience, strong ties and educational background which is the last considered factor. Passion is the one of the most important factor that had not been mention in previous studies. Passion contains Entrepreneurial Passion, Products Passion and Industrial Passion. These three are the top three factors of all the consider factors.
