隨著科技的發展，企業各項運作的腳步也越來越快，尤其是製造業的交期、成本、品質..等各項指標更是決定公司能否永續經營的重要關鍵，但本個案公司還停留在十年前的作業觀念，使得公司陷入空前的生存危機。本案主角長期任職百大科技公司主管因任務要求空降到傳統製造業延續管理職位，面對不同的企業文化、跨領域專業性及公司未來發展，該如何跳出現有框架，帶領團隊前進再次出發？由於大部分的個案都以企業發展為主體研究，較少著重於範圍較小的人事問題作為探討主軸，個案本文撰寫方式利用情境模擬及生活式的對話，讀著可以感受到更貼近實際企業運作所面臨到的問題，藉著故事案例研究SWOT模型、危機處理、變革及資源拼湊等理論，使個案變成通案，有效運用於各類型組織管理的議題上。

With the development of science and technology, all enterprises are speeding up to catch the change of the times. In manufacturing industries, delivery period of products, operational cost, service quality, etc., all are the key factors to determine a company’s sustainable existence. The company in this case study has been cooped into the out dated operational standards, which made the company fall into an unprecedented crisis of survival. The figure in this story, who had been a senior manager in one of Taiwan top 100 technology enterprises, joined the traditional manufacturing company as an outside manager. With the challenges of different corporate cultures, interdisciplinary professions, and the future development of the traditional company, he shows his capabilities to think out of the box and lead the team to go forward.　Different from most case studies elaborating on corporate development, the case study focus on personnel issues instead. Demonstrating by situational simulations and life-style dialogues, it’s easier for readers to feel close to the actual business dilemma. The study also provides theoretical reflections. SWOT model, crisis management, changes, and resource patchwork are the four important management concepts learnt from the story. The single and real business case then turns into a case of applicable and referral of various types of organizational management practices.
