本論文研究英國開放銀行第三方供應商之商業模式及服務藍圖,以瞭解其如何與目標客層及關鍵合作夥伴互動並獲利。開放銀行是英國競爭及市場管理局(Competition and Market Authority)對零售銀行市場缺乏競爭力,所採取之促進與刺激市場政策之一。第三方供應商可為一組織或人,依英國開放銀行實施組織(Open Banking Implementation Entity, 簡稱OBIE)之標準所開發之應用程式介面(Application Programming Interface, 簡稱API),存取終端客戶之銀行帳戶,為終端客戶提供帳戶資訊服務(Account Information Services, 簡稱AIS)或支付啟動服務(Payment Initiation Services, 簡稱PIS)。本研究採取個案研究、商業模式、服務藍圖為研究方法,從OBIE公布的廠商名冊挑選九個研究案例,以Osterwalder提出之商業模式為理論框架,逐項盤點各案例的構成要素,再根據各案例的商業模式畫出服務藍圖,研究第三方供應商與目標客層及關鍵合作夥伴(如銀行)之互動。研究結果歸納出五種商業模式:1. 財務管理與規劃模式、2. 信用風險評估與媒合模式、3. 廣告推薦模式、4. 線上付款模式以及5. 提供開放銀行服務模式;並透過服務藍圖釐清各類型之服務要素與流程;同時彙整出生態系統縮影,說明其彼此之競爭與合作關係。


This study aims to analyze and organize the Business Models and Service Blueprints of open banking third party providers, and understand how they interact with their customers and cooperate with their key partners, and earn profits. British government realized that retail banking market had seemed to be lack of competitiveness from the Retail Banking Market Investigation Final Report as reported by Competition and Market Authority (CMA) in 2016. Therefore, CMA decided to intervene the market, and Open Banking has become one of the new policies. According to Open Banking Implementation Entity (OBIE), an open banking third party provider could be an organization or a person, that follows API Specifications and provide customers Account Information Services (AIS) or Payment Initiation Services (PIS). The methodologies of this study are case study, Business Model Canvas, and Service Blueprint. In this research, 9 cases have been selected from Open Banking Directory on OBIE’s official website, and Osterwalder’s Business Model Canvas and Service Blueprint has been chosen as the theoretical framework to analyze each case. As the results, after organizing the 9 cases, this research has generalized 5 types of business models, including the financial management and planning model, credit risk evaluation and matching model, advertising recommendation model, online payment model, and open banking as service model. And each type of business model also has their corresponding Service Blueprint, and the readers could be able to understand the service progress more clearly. Also, after integrating the relationship of the 9 cases, an epitome of an ecosystem has come into view, and the competition and cooperation between the same type and different types of business model cases could also be seen.
