目前電腦視覺輔助之車輛行車監控系統已趨成熟,但尚須駕駛者轉移部分專注力於汽車上LCD顯示器,才能獲得即時輔助資訊,這對於行車安全上有著一定程度的影響。若將輔助資訊直接且即時投射於車輛擋風玻璃上,並不影響駕駛者視線規範下,則使用上的效果必會更加顯著。本篇論文針對行車安全監控之駕駛者擋風玻璃警示系統進行研究,將車道障礙物資訊顯示於車輛擋風玻璃上。藉由偵測到之車道障礙物之位置資訊,透過系統數學模型求得駕駛者與障礙物之視線方程式,進而求得視線方程式與擋風玻璃之交點,再同步驅動雷射投射裝置將警告資訊投射於此位置,讓駕駛者得以直接藉由該雷射投影點看到後方車道障礙物,以達到有效警示目的,有助於降低車禍發生率且增進行車安全。
Up to now, computer-assisted visual traffic surveillance system for vehicles has become popular. Most warning system requires the driver to view the warning message on the LCD monitor, which generates a certain degree of uncertainty on traffic safety. This paper aims to provide a unique warning system, which will display the obstacle appearing on the drive way on the windshield. The obstacle on the drive way is first detected by the image capture system, and by using the mathematical model to obtain the straight line between the obstacle and the head of the driver. After that, a real time laser projecting system will emit a warning dot on the point on the windshield which is the intersection between the obstacle and the driver’s head. The driver can effectively see the obstacle on the drive way by looking to the laser projected point on the windshield to reduce the possibility of accidents.
