    There are so many foundations that form a company. The main foundations are finance, marketing, and human resource management (HRM). Only with the synergy of the foundations, a company can gain success in return. However, what is the connection between them? HRM has ability in building company behaviors and practices which form a primary part of corporate culture, it also becomes the most important thing which ensures corporate achievement. Training and development is one of HRM tools. It is being used to maintain talents. It helps HRM to improve the abilities and moreover implant new skills or values to the organization.
    Service industry is an industry which requires high quality of talents. Airlines, one of service industry, which are really dependable to quality of services is forced to give the priority to training and development. How to be the different with the other competitors, giving the valuable services although with budgeted expenses, become the main goals of low cost carrier airlines.
    When customers are satisfied by the given service, they will be loyal to the company, especially to an airline with low cost budget but giving full service. Moreover, the customer can give recommendation to the community. Those actions would impact company revenue and generate company performance. Employee training and development program also impact the way of company governance. Sufficient training and development of managerial staff brings another value added to the company’s harmony. The way of leadership also gives big impacts to the working environment. Company with comfortable and synergy working atmosphere will have a better company performance as the result.
