  • 金融業讓人人稱羨的「金飯碗」,面對市場強大的競爭,如何善用經營策略看準市場趨勢,對任何產業而言都是極為重要的議題,本個案本文主要陳述個案主角於大學畢業後進入期貨業任職兩年後,適逢台灣指數期貨市場成立,她掌握證券業需期貨人才時機,順利跨業進入個案A證券公司,因緣際會參與A證券公司一連串併購計畫,經過約十年A證券公司由綜合券商轉型爲金控,在轉型過程公司內部作業流程同步實行電子化,且配合國際化趨勢,A金控集團導入SAP會計系統,於系統順利上線後,緊接再次採取併購策略,增加國內市場市佔率與多角化經營,進一步推行國際化拓展,A金控公司共歷經約二十年的成長與蛻變,現今已躍身為前五大金控。
    然而,公司轉型成長的過程,個案主角各階段面對哪些不同挑戰與問題,她是如何克服種種窘境達成任務?另一方面,於新任職公司所觀察到的問題,她下一步該採取何作為才能改善公司整體效能?
    本論文以哈佛式個案撰寫,論文包含個案本文與教師教學指引手冊兩部份,可用於討論併購策略、資源模組化、輪調制度、組織變革,本個案論文貢獻乃研究者希能藉由個案陳述內容與教學指引探討,提供研究生或相關從業人員當企業成長與轉型過程中可能產生何種問題及影響;另一方面,以個案主角一路奮鬥種種經歷引以為借鏡,更期許職場中的每個人,能勇於嘗試跨領域或產業學習,不斷提升自我競爭力,才能在現今競爭激烈的環境脫穎而出。


    The career opportunities afforded by the "golden rice bowl" of the financial industry are a source of envy. In the face of strong market competition, making good use of business strategies to spot market trends is an extremely important aspect which, in fact, is relevant to any industry.
    The protagonist for this case study is a university graduate who first worked in the futures industry for two years - a period which coincided with the establishment of the Taiwan index futures market. She was well-positioned to seize the opportunities available as the futures industry was in need of an influx of talent and such timing enabled her to successfully to make a transition to Securities Company A.
    Circumstances at Securities Company A were such that the protagonist was involved in a series of mergers and acquisitions undertaken by the Company. After about ten years, Securities Company A transformed from a comprehensive securities firm into a financial holding company. During this transformation process, the Company’s internal operating procedures became implemented electronically and were in line with the trend towards internationalization. Financial Holding Group A [formerly Securities Company A] introduced the SAP accounting system, and after the system was successfully launched, it immediately adopted the merger strategy again to increase domestic market share, to diversify its operations, and to further promote international expansion. After approximately 20 years of growth and transformation, Financial Holding Group A had become one of the top five financial holding companies.
    During the Company’s transformation and growth, what were the different challenges and problems faced by the protagonist at each stage? How did she overcome various difficulties to complete tasks? Furthermore, regarding the problems facing the latest iteration of the Company, what should she do next to improve the Company's overall performance?
    The researchers hope that the narrative and discussion of this paper can be shared as a reference for relevant practitioners. It is hoped that everyone in the workplace will have the courage to cross domains, broaden industrial learning and continuously improve their competitiveness in order to stand out in today's highly competitive environment.
