Taiwan's economic growth is highly dependent on exports. The small and medium-sized manufacturing industry once created the glory of Taiwan's export. After that, Taiwan's manufacturing industry took a place in the global OEM system with its technological advantages. It has driven Taiwan's economic growth and exports. In terms of global strategic layout, Taiwanese manufacturers are used to base on their factories in China and gain a great competitive advantage by focusing on international customers. However, in recent years, emerging economies have risen by virtue of their vast market size and cheaper labor, and the global manufacturing layout has also fluctuated a lot.
More than 90% of Taiwan's enterprises are small and medium-sized. Under the competition of global industries, there have been cases of declining growth rates and reduced profit margins. Taiwan's small and medium-sized manufacturing industries hope to make their products better, also their processes more optimized, and even their qualities more stable by practicing digital transformation. This research is mainly expected to analyze when the case company encountering the impact of digital transforming, what kind of dilemmas they may have and how to solve the problems by simulating similar sized companies or patterns which fit to solve this situation in manufacturing industry as reference.
This research hopes to find the management implications of digital transformation for small and medium-sized manufacturing industry through qualitative research.
This research chooses one single case to executive the practical research by using practical and complete interview and qualitive research steps to finalize, when manufacturing industry facing digital transforming stage, there will be some important cores to consider as below mentioned:

    1. Factors which needed digital transforming for small and medium-sized manufacturing industry
    2. Evaluation of digital transformation
3.Organizational adjustment in digital transforming dilemma situation
    4. Standard process for digital transformation
    5. Success factors for digital transformation
