  • 近年電腦輔助工業設計軟體與硬體不斷進步,不僅加速了產品設計開
    發速度,也改變了設計流程及組織。本研究探討電腦輔助工業設計師於產
    品開發流程扮演之角色,以汽車產品、消費電子產品與玩具產品作為案
    例,經由訪談三間公司實際參與開發成員,收集三間公司的設計組織與開
    發流程,針對設計活動進行時,設計資訊於各角色間傳遞方式,分析電腦
    輔助工業設計師與其他設計成員的互動。以Topalian之有機型態專案組織
    定義其扮演角色。本研究結果發現。
    1.各公司依據需求設定產品開發流程與設計組織,設計組織的差異有專責
    的電腦輔助工業設計單位、由工業設計師兼任或是兩者並存。
    2.設計活動中使用媒材不同,造成採用的設計模式有所差異,若設計流程
    使用實體模型作為媒材,可採逆向設計模式以及混合設計模式,由專責
    電腦輔助工業設計單位執行數位模型建構。
    3.電腦輔助工業設計師實際的的角色隨著產品造型開發流程不斷轉變,概
    念發展階段扮演設計支援者的角色,越接近產品量產階段,轉換扮演設
    計管理者的角色。
    4.電腦輔助工業設計師並非只是操作軟體的角色,其匯集設計活動其間所
    有的設計資訊,並提供可執行建議與進行造形修改,串聯工程單位與設
    計單位,應具備跨領域的專業知識。


    In recent years, computer-aided industrial design software and computer hardware
    advances, not only accelerated the speed of product design, but also changed the
    design process and organization, this research is focused on the role that
    computer-aided industrial designer play in product development process,
    automotive products, consumer electronics and toy products as a case through
    interviews with members from three companies that were involved in the
    development process, through the collection of the three companies design
    development process for design Activities, and design information transmitted
    between the various roles in the interaction between computer-aided industrial
    design and other design members by using Topalian organic style to define the
    project organization's role.
    This research finds that each company develops a different kind of product
    development process and design organization according to their requirement,
    either setting up an specialized computer-aided industrial design department
    or using the current industrial design department .
    Design activities using different media, resulting in different design modes, if the
    design process using the solid model as the media, a digital model can be building
    by specialized computer-aided industrial design department either by reverse design
    mode or mix design mode.
    The role of the computer-aided industrial designer is changing as the
    development process moves on. During the concept design stage of
    development they play a more supportive role , when closing to the
    production stage they transform to play the role of design manager. A clear
    definition of the organizations so that the computer assisted design can work
    with industrial designers to have a good cooperation, at the same time also
    promoting the product development process smoothly.
    Computer-aided industrial designer's role is not only operating software, which
    brings together all the design information, and provide actionable advice and the
    shape change, but also as the bridge between engineering units and design units,
    computer-aided industrial designer should have interdisciplinary expertise.
