物聯網旋風近年快速竄起,構造一個覆蓋世界上萬事萬物之系統。無線射頻識別(Radio Frequency Identification, RFID)就是其應用之一,讓物品資訊交換或定位,彼此進行交流。譽為本世紀十大重要技術之一,RFID實不為過。
RFID並非新科技,早在1950年代即已有之。受惠於網路之發達,遂從過去老技術搖身一變而為科技新寵兒。RFID存在於你我身邊,日常生活中隨處可見。在各個領域中,RFID皆充分呈現出其優異之特性。RFID視為未來之發展重點,其日益普及將為全球供應鏈管理帶來新挑戰。
本研究之研究對象為家庭熱能兩大主要來源之一:液化石油氣(Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG,俗稱桶裝瓦斯)。我國液化石油氣目前尚有三百四十萬戶以上家庭使用,仍是最大宗之使用燃料。然而液化石油氣產業幾十年來在經營形態上並無太大轉變,如何以有限資源活化業者競爭優勢,為相當重要之課題。
國內有關RFID在其他行業之應用文獻頗多,惟RFID應用於液化石油氣產業之相關研究仍有未足。有見於此,本研究透過個案之實證模擬,探討RFID技術應用於液化石油氣產業在生產、庫存、物流管理方面之改善效益,藉以提供業者日後在經營策略及產業升級之借鏡。
The rapidly rising of the Internet of Things has formed a system of covering everything in the world. The RFID is one of its applications, helping all sorts of information exchange, fix, and flow across each other. It has been acclaimed as one of the ten greatest technologies in this century.
The RFID is not a new technology, which already existed in the 1950’s. Benefited by the Internet, it has become a new favorite of technology. The RFID is with us, being seen everywhere. Its excellences appear in all fields. The RFID will be a future development of importance, and its popularization will bring new challenges for the management of global supply chains.
The LPG is taken as the object of this study, which is one of two major sources of heat energy in domestic families. There are still over 3,400,000 family customers of LPG. It is the most important fuel among all others. However, the LPG business has changed little in management for decades of years. It is necessary for the business to vitalize competitive merits with its limited resources.
Although there is much literature on the RFID application to other walks of life, related research on the application of LPG to the RFID is still inadequate. With this view, the study investigates, through the case pragmatic simulation, the improvement and efficiency of production, storage, and distribution managements in the RFID applied LPG, in the hope that it will provide future reference for the management strategy and industry upgrade of the business.
