雲端應用已是現今資訊科技發展的顯學,伺服器虛擬化又是雲端應用架構的根基。完成伺服器虛擬化的規劃建置不僅需擁有伺服器、網路、Storage等相關專業知識,還需要有專案規模評估、虛擬化軟體選擇、虛擬化環境建置及虛擬機管理能力。專案成員在導入過程中直接或間接獲取之顯性及隱性知識,應透過有效的知識管理來保存於組織之中。
然而傳統的知識管理多以文字、PDF文件或投影片方式保存於組織中,較難以直接闡述表徵知識,以致組織的知識管理未能達到預期的效果。
本研究建構一知識平台,並使用知識結構表徵工具「概念圖」來建構VMware伺服器虛擬化知識。組織成員於知識平台透過概念圖習得所需知識,並於平台共同參與問題解決及經驗分享,以達組織知識保存、活化與應用之目的。
經知識平台實作與測試,本研究確立知識平台的可行性及實用性。主要的研究貢獻為(1) 建置有效保存組織知識的伺服器虛擬化知識平台,並確認可藉此移轉為組織內同仁可應用之知識。(2) 透過知識平台呈現伺服器虛擬化知識概念圖,組織成員確實能較易由概念圖去理解伺服器虛擬化的知識架構。(3) 藉由論壇型知識平台的運作來組織知識社群,提高伺服虛擬化知識與經驗分享之成效,提昇組織成員內隱知識的保存與傳遞。
As cloud-based applications have become a dominating trend in the latest developments of information technology, server virtualization has become the backbone of cloud-based application architecture. The successful completion of the planning and implementation of a virtualized server not only requires servers, the internet, storage devices, and relevant technical know-how, but also demands project scope evaluation, virtualization software selection, facilitation of a virtualization environment, and management capability of a virtual machines. Explicit and tacit knowledge accrued by members of the project during the phasing-in period, whether directly or indirectly, should be stored within an organization through effective knowledge management.
However, traditional forms of knowledge management are usually comprised of texts, PDF documents, and presentation slides stored within an organization. This makes it more difficult to directly expound the knowledge, thus somewhat hampering the desired result that should be achieved through organizational knowledge management.
This study built a knowledge platform that utilizes a “concept map”, a diagram tool used to indicate knowledge structure, to construct the VMware knowledge database. Organizational members can access all knowledge and information needed from the concept map on the knowledge platform, and can fully participate in problem-solving discussions and experience-sharing on the platform, to achieve the aim of knowledge preservation, utilization and application.
After actual implementation and testing of the knowledge platform, this study fully demonstrates its feasibility and practicality. Major research contributions include 1. The construction of a VMware knowledge platform for the effective storage of an organizational knowledge bank and confirming the ability to transfer this knowledge to organizational members for applied use. 2. Through the VMware concept map presented on the knowledge platform, organizational members will find it easier to comprehend the knowledge structure of the VMware. 3. By means of the forum-based knowledge platform, a knowledge community can be formed to better enhance the effectiveness of knowledge and experience sharing on the VMware platform. This will result in improved storage and spread of tacit knowledge to and through organizational members.
