汗得學社2014年成立台灣第一個推廣能源教育、公民協力發電的「一人一千瓦」社會企業。這是讓一般民眾也能參與太陽能發電的計畫。第一階段，以小型屋頂太陽光電為目標。希望透過公民參與來連結能源與生活，讓能源變成為生活中關心的話題，推動台灣邁向擁有公民電廠，讓公民也能和再生能源產業共存共榮。
汗得學社2002年成立於德國，是個致力於能源教育與節能建築的非營利組織。2011年胡湘玲與丈夫韋仁正共同成立台灣汗得文化協會。用蓋房子來溝通對話，喚醒傳統工藝的價值和記憶，用永續理念連結生活、建築與能源想像。這是汗得學社過去10多年來的努力。
從「協力造屋」、「冰塊解密」，到「一人一千瓦」社會企業，汗得學社讓我們看到非營利組織的社會創新力，即使面臨到社會資源分配不均，救急的社會資源補助無法給予多餘的非營利組織團體，汗得學社化危機為轉機，盤點活化自己的資源，自給自足，一次又一次創造出屬於汗得學社的能源教育創新路線。
本個案採用哈佛個案研究之方式進行，可用於討論社會機構平台、商業模式、資源拼湊、及主導邏輯等相關議題。瞭解非營利組織如何透過永續的主導邏輯來建構社會機構平台，發展出能源教育的商業模式，並藉由資源拼湊的思維來達到組織的資源活化。

In 2014, the HAND Initiative e.V. launched Taiwan Independent Power Plants (TIPPs), a social enterprise devoted energy education and citizen power plants, Taiwan's first energy education social enterprise. This is a plan that people also can participate in Solar Power. The first phase, the target is to be focused on small rooftop solar photovoltaic. We hope that through citizen participation to link energy and life and let the energy issues became a topic we concern in life and push Taiwan towards own citizens plants. So that citizens can participate in the development of the renewable energy industry.
HAND initiative e.V. (HAND) was founded in Germany in 2002, a non-profit organization devoted to energy education and energy-efficient buildings. In 2011, Hu Hsiang-ling and her husband, Wei Ren-jheng, co-founded Taiwan-Germany HAND Initiative e.V.. In these activities organized by the HAND, the HAND tries to let the citizens know how to communicate with the dialogue by building houses and wake up traditional craft values and memories and link building and energy imagination with the concept of sustainable development. This is the efforts of the past 10 years of the HAND.
Through a wide range of activities, including building houses, the summer camps and the TIPPs social enterprise, we can find the power of social innovation created by the HAND. Even in the face to the unequal distribution of social resources, social assistance can’t be given extra resources to non-profit organization groups. The HAND always turns the crisis into opportunity and creates their owned innovative way of energy education over and over again.
The case is adapted Harvard Case Study research method to discuss the following issues: social institutions platform, business model, resource bricolage, dominant logic and so forth. The case will be explored on the following viewpoints. How non-profit an organization uses sustainable dominant logic to construct social institutions platform and develop a business model for energy education? How the organization achieves the resources activated with the thinking of resource bricolage?
