本個案著重於描述撼訊科技於2015年末乙太坊智能合約興起,2017年乙太幣大漲而致挖礦顯示卡需求及價格迅速攀升。
惟個案公司早在2013年比特幣崛起時,經歷挖礦顯示卡需求大增,隨後因其第一個半減期屆而2014年暴跌,嚴重侵蝕個案公司的獲利。
在面臨虛擬貨幣大起大落而致顯示卡產品生命週期短暫的情況,撼訊科技要如何透過組織敏捷性,及善用該公司擅長的異質運算及培養其他動態競爭能力,來面對此次的挑戰!
This case focuses on the rising of the smart contract of Ethereum at the end of 2015. In 2017, cause the price of Ethereum rose rapidly, the demand for mining graphics cards and its prices rose rapidly simultaneously.
However, the case company TUL experienced a large increase in demand for mining graphics cards as early as the rise of Bitcoin in 2013, and then plunged in 2014 due to its first half-down period, which seriously eroded the profitability of the case company.
In the face of the ups and downs of virtual currency and the short life cycle of graphics card products, how can TUL meet this challenge by organizing agility and making good expert of the company's special heterogeneous computing and cultivating other dynamic competitiveness!
