  • 群播與廣播服務(multicast and broadcast service,MBS)是第四代行動通訊系統的重要服務項目之ㄧ,第四代行動通訊系統的主要目標是高頻譜使用效益,為了提高群播與廣播服務的頻譜使用效益且維持行動台的服務品質(quality of service,QoS),基地台藉由行動台的回報訊息進行無線資源管理是一條可能達成目標的途徑。
    本論文自行設計回報機制與無線資源管理機制。本論文提出的無線資源管理機制結合功率控制(power control)與可適性調變與編碼技術(adaptive modulation and channel coding scheme,AMC),行動台只要不滿足基地台的回報條件就必須回報NACK訊息。基地台根據是否收到行動台的NACK訊息的情況,動態調整基地台的傳送功率與下鏈調變與編碼技術。根據本論文提出的機制,我們希望在維持一定的服務品質下,以及付出少許的訊息量,換取系統更高的頻譜使用效益。


    Multicast and broadcast service (MBS) is one of the important service over 4th generation mobile communication system. High spectral efficiency is the main target for 4G mobile communication system. In order to reach this target and maintain quality of service (QoS) for MSs, BSs process radio resource management is one possible solution by receiving feedback information from MSs.
    We design one feedback mechanism and carry out our radio resource management (RRM). The proposed mechanism include power control and adaptive modulation and channel coding scheme (AMC). MSs need to feedback NACK message as MSs do not satisfy the feedback condition. Based on these siuations, BSs receive NACK or not, BSs can adjust transmission power and downlink MCS. We expect to maintain MSs’ QoS and reach the target of high spectral efficiency at the cost of signaling overhead.
