以《J'ai vu une fois Une Magnifique Image.》3D動畫製作過程為主軸，先從動畫原理到近代動畫發展脈絡的認識，後述獨立製作3D動畫的實例到製作流程的剖析。整理製作流程的內容則包括建模、貼圖、動態製作與後期合成，並說明創作者在過程中遇到的癥結問題及思考解決。
《J'ai vu une fois Une Magnifique Image.》is an independent animation production which witnesses the development of contemporary animation. In this thesis, the procedure of making《J'ai vu une fois Une Magnifique Image.》is analyzed and few examples of 3D animation are provided. The analysis puts emphasis on modeling, textures, animation, and visual effects. Besides, the process of problem solving is also illustrated and included in the thesis.
