  • 隨著科技、半導體、電腦的發展,顯示器的應用範圍逐漸變廣,從基本的平面顯示器,到個別用途與應用產品發展快速,市場潛力巨大,此外,我國的顯示器產業產值也一直都是除了半導體之外最大的產業;因此,本研究想分析OLED顯示器產業的專利分佈態樣,尤其是在製程端的專利,製程的良率、成本、技術將直接決定顯示器產品的競爭力,為OLED產業的最為關鍵的一環。

    本研究以趨勢檢索、關鍵製程檢索式進行分析,包含:主要申請申請人、申請人國別、IPC分類號;以及,關鍵製程在產業鏈中分佈,包含:設備、原料、製程商。本研究將特別說明美、中、日、韓的專利局,因該產業技術、廠址、市場、競爭者主要皆來自該些國家;另外,也將對照美中專利局的專利作為分析依據,因該些國家為技術參與者、新興競爭者的主要來源國。

    本研究分析結果如下(1)OLED製程主要專利權人、申請人國別、專利局件數排名態樣皆極為相似,主要參與者幾乎都為該些廠商;(2)在製程中重點技術、材料、設備廠商專利分佈較為不同,該些廠商有的專利件數一般皆比製程廠商較少;(3)未來或可預期OLED製程主要佔比依然是韓廠,但會面臨中日廠商的競爭,市場不至於被三星、LG壟斷,然OLED製程依然屬於寡占跟技術競爭的市場。


    With the development of science and technology, semiconductors and computers, the application scope of displays will gradually expand, from basic flat-panel displays to individual displays. The application of products rapidly development and have huge market potential. In addition, the output value of our country's display industry is sec-ond large industry just behind semiconductor industry. Therefore, this study intends to study the patent distribution of the OLED display industry, especially the patents on the process and manufacture side. The yield, cost and technique of the manufacture will di-rectly determine the competitiveness of display products, which is the key part in the OLED industry.

    This study uses trend search and key manufacture search methods to analyze, in-cluding: main applicant, applicant country, IPC classification number; Futhermoer, the distribution of key processes in the industrial chain, including: equipment, raw materials, and manufacture providers. This study will specifically discuss the patent offices of the United States, China, Japan, and South Korea, because in the industry of technolo-gy,manufacture site, market, and competitors are mainly from these countries, and these countries are also the main source countries of manufacurer and new competitors.

    The study results of this research are as follows (1) The main patentees, applicant countries, and patent office rankings of the OLED manufacture are very similar. The main players are almost these manufacturers; (2) The key technologies in the OLED manufacture, the patent distribution of material and equipment manufacturers, are rela-tively different, and the number of patents of these companies is generally less than manufacturers; (3) In the future, it may be expected that the majority of OLED manu-facturing process will still be dominated by Korean manufacturers, but will face compe-tition from Chinese and Japanese manufacturers , the market will not be monopolized by Samsung and LG, but the OLED process is still an oligopolistic market that com-petes with technology.
