The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) is a commonly known, continuously developed and widely applied inventory management tool. In recent years, many researchers have continued to explore and improve this model to make it more realistic and hope it can provide the companies with an effective tool to manage the inventory and use data to control the production lines better.
This paper considers the demand as some exponential function and the commodities as the delayed deteriorating items in the Economic Ordering model. The difference between delayed deteriorating items and deteriorating items is that the time point of degradation is different. Delayed deteriorating items will start deterioration after a certain point of time and become damaged.
Therefore, in addition to the goods in the good condition, the inventory must also manage the deteriorated and damaged goods. Beside above, it also needs to take the price factor into account and then analyze the cost and profit.
