  • 圖像是一個傳遞訊息的重要管道,為了讓駕駛在行駛中能夠快速且正確的操作其需要的功能,一個良好汽車圖像能夠有效地幫助資訊的傳達,讓駕駛在第一眼看到的時候,就清楚地瞭解其所要表達的意義。為了因應複雜的駕車環境,近年來車用抬頭顯示器(Head-up display;HUD)盛行,可將車內資訊直接投射於前擋風玻璃上,讓駕駛能夠保持抬頭狀態隨時注意前方的突發狀況,避免因低頭查看駕駛資訊而造成分心。同樣的,抬頭顯示器上的資訊樣式呈現也相當重要,若圖像未能有效的傳遞資訊,很可能會造成駕駛的負擔。
    先前研究中Anjani (2015)發展決策樹作為查明使用者難以辨識圖像的診斷工具,但是其決策樹尚未經過測試是否能夠被有效運用。為了要證明決策樹的可用性,本研究讓受測者進行汽車圖像的偏好測試實驗,針對測試結果進行訪談,了解受測者對於圖像的偏好原因,並針對Anjani (2015)決策規則進行檢視,將決策樹沒有邏輯性的部分重新修正,進一步將受測者對於汽車圖像的偏好及不偏好原因與決策規則進行比對,並試圖將汽車圖像放入決策樹中。研究證明修正過後的決策樹能夠有效地檢視使用者難以辨識圖像與不偏好圖像的原因,可作為往後設計者在設計圖像時的參考依據。
    本研究進而將決策樹概念應用於抬頭顯示器的圖像設計上,透過林啟訓(2015) HUD圖像設計樣式之訪談結果,以相同的方式將HUD圖像的偏好及不偏好原因與決策規則進行比對,且嘗試將不同功能圖像放入決策樹中,本研究發現決策樹亦能應用於檢視HUD圖像難以辨識與使用者不偏好原因,但仍有資訊比例與配置等問題須特別注意。未來研究建議能夠發展HUD圖像在整體介面的決策樹,作為檢測HUD資訊的比例與配置之診斷工具。


    Icon is an important method for conveying massage to let drivers operate the functions they need in car driving quickly and correctly. A good icon can convey information effectively, and let driver understand the meaning clearly at the first interaction. In todays’ complex driving environment the use of heads-up display can provide important information be projected directly on windshield. Since it can keep drivers' head up to attend the environment in front of the car while checking the display, it might minimize accident caused by the possible distraction. Similarly, icons design on the heads-up display is also very important, because if it fails to convey the intended information effectively, it will likely cause burden on driving. Anjani (2015) developed decision tree as diagnostic tool for drivers difficultly of identifying icons, but the decision tree has not yet been tested if it can be used effectively. In order to prove applicability of the decision tree, we conducted an experiment to make participants provide their preferences of car icons design. According to preference test results and interview, we could understand participants’ preference reasons of car icons. By checking the decision rules in Anjani (2015) research, we revised illogical part of decision tree. Further, we compared preference and non-preference reasons with the decision rules and tried to put the car icons into decision trees. This study showed the revised decision tree could be effectively used to check difficultly of identifying icons. We also used the decision tree to check icons design on the heads-up display, through Lin (2015) interview results of HUD icons design. Although the decision tree also could be a diagnostic tool for drivers difficultly of identifying HUD icons, but there still has ration and arrangement problems. So, we suggest developing a decision tree of HUD icons in the whole interface, which can be a diagnostic tool for ration and arrangement of HUD.
