  • 良好的設計概念可以貫穿、解釋整個設計,然而設計作品中最核心卻又如此抽象的「設計概念」是從何而來的?「設計概念」發展的過程如何?我想釐清每個人在「設計概念」上思考與操作的過程中,是什麼促發了想像?又是怎麼將概念揉稔進建築設計中?是否存在符合各種設計需求的完美答案?

    本研究旨在發掘進行建築設計概念發想與生成時的影響因素,了解設計概念發展過程中的各種階段與考量,以及其所牽涉的範疇與面向。經由紮根理論基本理論之文獻探討,運用質性研究的方法,擬定開放式問題、採用半結構訪談對建築系學生進行深度訪談,收集大量的原始資料;再以紮根理論編碼程序中的開放性譯碼(Open Coding)、主軸譯碼(Axial Coding)、選擇性譯碼(Selective Coding),進行資料的分析、比較與歸類;從中探究其發想的範疇(Categories),及其生成的發展脈絡,並可與最終設計作品作比對。藉由上述的研究流程和方法,從建築領域中收集的資料探究具有意義的內涵,進而產生概念和理論結構,探討建築設計概念的發想與生成,建構出一套可依循的程序,讓概念可以明確地被分門別類、提供更全面的思考,並藉由思考的廣度來提升設計概念的深度,給予建築設計教育者有跡可循的教學模式想像,使「設計概念」變成可以溝通的理論,更好地引導學生在概念發想與生成上的參考,並有效地傳達與呈現設計成果。


    A good design concept can run through and explain the whole design. However, where does the core and abstract "design concept" in the design work come from? How is the development process of the "design concept"? I want to clarify what motivates imagination in the process of thinking and operating on the "design concept"? How to incorporate the concept into the architectural design? Is there a perfect answer that meets various design needs?

    The purpose of this study to explore the influencing factors in the development and generation of architectural design concepts, and to understand the various stages and considerations in the development of design concepts, as well as the categories and aspects involved. Through the literature discussion of the basic theory of grounded theory, using the method of qualitative research, formulating open-ended questions, using semi-structured interviews to conduct in-depth interviews with architecture students, and collecting a large amount of original data; Then the open coding, Selective Coding and axial coding in the grounded theory coding program are used to analyze, compare and classify the data; From it, we can explore the categories of their ideas and the development context of their generation, and compare them with the final design works. Through the above-mentioned research process and methods, the meaningful connotation is explored from the data collected in the architectural field, so as to generate concepts and theoretical structures, explore the development and generation of architectural design concepts, construct a set of procedures that can be followed, so that concepts can be clearly classified, provide more comprehensive thinking, and enhance the depth of design concepts through the breadth of thinking, Give architectural design educators the imagination of a traceable teaching model, turn "design concept" into a communicable theory, better guide students' reference in concept development and generation, and effectively convey and present design results.
