本論文研製一款適用於短距離量測的毫米波雷達模組,該模組整合120 GHz雷達接收發晶片(含陣列天線)、鎖相迴路電路、和基頻放大電路,透過調控鎖相迴路晶片,實現頻率調變之功能。本論文以掃描頻率119 GHz至125 GHz之頻率調變連續波訊號對目標物進行發射,接收到的反射訊號通過降頻,將基頻訊號送入微控制器內的類比數位轉換器(ADC)進行訊號處理。通過實驗,本論文所研製的雷達模組,在距離量測之應用中,具有優異的量測精準度,在30 cm距離內最大誤差為0.76%。未來,可將其使用於短距離高精準度的應用領域。


This thesis develops a millimeter-wave radar module for short-distance ranging. This module integrates a 120 GHz radar transceiver chip (including antenna arrays), a phase-locked loop, and a baseband amplifier. The phase-locked loop is used to achieve the frequency-swept property for realization of frequency-modulated continuous-wave signals. The frequency range of the developed module is set to 119~125 GHz for target ranging. The received reflected signals are down-converted to the baseband signals, and then acquired by the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) embedded in a microcontroller for digital signals processing. The developed radar module in this thesis experimentally demonstrates an excellent accuracy of distance ranging inside 30 cm with a maximum error of 0.76%. In the future, this module can be applied to short-range and high-precision sensing applications.
