  • 本論文題目為「實體互動設計 - 雨季城市」,主要著重人們在雨中的感覺探索,利用各地區的氣候特徵因素來表現出不同的代表顏色,本互動設計實驗探討城市、地方感、社會表演學、慢科技、無所不在的運算以及相關雨傘設計主題,藉實驗結果歸納出每個地方、城市的雨季顏色,並經由受測者的訪談或問卷探討對於下雨時,雨傘使用時機的各種情形,與社會表演學之關連性。
    實驗中提出互動設計所使用譬喻設計與五感的對應關係,除了提出一個可供未來互動設計師參考的依據,並首度將譬喻手法之下的設計,以五感對應關係分類,再借用Marshall McLuhan冷熱媒體的觀念作為驗證。
    一把能隨著雨勢和環境溫度而改變顏色與亮度的雨傘,利用與互動設計息息相關的概念,本實驗透過此互動裝置可以探知人與人、與物、與城市之間的互動關係,也探討地方感與顏色是否有直接的關連。


    The topic of this thesis is the "Physical Interaction Design - Rainy Cities" which mainly focuses on exploring people's feelings in the rain and makes use of climatic characteristic factor of every area to represent demonstrations by different colors. This experiment is to probe into the city, sense of place, social performance studies, slow technology, ubiquitous computing and relevant umbrella design motifs, and to expect to make use of the experimental results to deduce the rainy season colors of each place and city. Besides, the researcher, by means of the subjects’ interview or questionnaire, try to relate the timing of using umbrellas in every situation to social performance studies when in the rain.
    In the experiment, the researcher proposes an interactive design which utilizes the interrelation of the metaphor and five senses. Moreover, the researcher gives out a proposal which not only provides the basis for interactive designers in the future but also for the first time categorizes the spectrum of the five senses under the design methods of the metaphor, and additionally Marshall McLuhan's theory of "cold and hot media" is employed in order to do the confirmation once more.
    An umbrella can sense rain magnitude and surrounding temperature and accordingly change its colors and brightness. By the utilization of the interactive concept, devices of the experiment are able to both realize people’s interrelation with people, things, and cities, and find out whether direct relationship between sense of place and colors exists.
