氣候變遷日益急劇,降低交通運輸帶來的溫室氣體排放為一項重要課題,電動車成為永續城市的解決方案之一,煤炭與石油化石燃料被人類大量使用,燃燒過程產生的二氧化碳被排放到大氣中,造成全球暖化問題,依據比爾蓋茲「不創新,避不開氣候災難」一書內容所述,全世界每年排放到大氣中的溫室氣體是510億噸,即使做到減少碳排放99%也無法使地球溫度停止上升。面對全球暖化議題,必須了解如何用電、如何製造、如何耕種養殖、如何運輸以及如何調節溫度,其中,運輸的碳排放量占年510億噸的16%,除了減少交通量、少開車、少坐飛機、少運輸與減少汽車製程中使用的碳密集材料,更應該提升燃料的使用效能,改用電動車與替代燃料。
全球暖化議題催生ESG風潮,對於地球的保護行動,全球各大車廠積極利用創新科技發展電動車,歐盟對於碳排放的規定越來越嚴格,歐盟執委會預計2035年全面禁止石化燃料車,加速轉換到零排放的電動車。
知名科學家克萊格•凡特 (J. Craig Venter) 說「電動車改變了運輸的一切,它是一部有輪子的電腦」,電動車取代燃油車的世界來的比想像中快速,它已徹底顛覆交通運輸產業,快速的改變創造新的機會與新的商機,有鑑於此,本研究探討在永續發展下,電動車與充電樁的技術與商業模式,並以S公司作為個案探討對象,從智慧與安全的角度切入,探討車載電腦在商用電動車的發展,希望有助於個人或相關企業找到競爭優勢,加速創新。


Climate change is an increasingly urgent issue, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation is a crucial challenge. Electric vehicles have emerged as one of the solutions for creating sustainable cities. However, the massive use of coal and petroleum fossil fuels by humans has led to the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, causing global warming. According to the content of Bill Gates' book "How to Avoid a Climate Disaster," the world emits 51 billion tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere each year. Even if we reduce carbon emissions by 99%, we cannot halt the earth's rising temperature. Thus, tackling global warming requires a comprehensive understanding of how to use electricity, how to manufacture, how to farm and raise animals, how to transport, and how to regulate temperature. Transportation accounts for 16% of the annual 51 billion tons of carbon emissions. In addition to reducing traffic volume, driving less, flying less, and transporting less, reducing the use of carbon-intensive materials in car manufacturing is crucial. Moreover, improving fuel efficiency and switching to electric vehicles and alternative fuels can also help to reduce carbon emissions. Therefore, the transportation sector must adopt more sustainable practices to mitigate the impact of climate change. This could include investing in electric vehicle infrastructure, supporting the development of alternative fuels, promoting public transportation, and encouraging active transportation, such as cycling and walking. These initiatives can contribute to achieving global sustainability goals and ultimately reduce the impact of climate change.
The issue of global warming has given rise to the ESG trend, and in response to the need for protecting the planet, major car manufacturers around the world are actively utilizing innovative technologies to develop electric vehicles. The European Union has been tightening regulations on carbon emissions, and the European Commission plans to ban petrol-fueled vehicles by 2035, accelerating the transition to zero-emission electric vehicles.
Renowned scientist J. Craig Venter once said, "The electric car changes everything in transportation, it's a computer on wheels." The world's transition to electric vehicles from fossil fuel cars has happened faster than expected, completely disrupting the transportation industry, and creating new opportunities and business models. This study explores the technology and business models of electric vehicles and charging stations in the context of sustainable development, with a focus on the smart and safe aspects of vehicle computing. The case study of Company S is used to investigate the development of commercial electric vehicles, with the aim of helping individuals and related enterprises find competitive advantages and accelerate innovation.
