摘要
臺南這個文化古城,從西元1624年荷蘭人入臺建立熱蘭遮城(現在安平古堡舊跡)開始,二年以後(西元2024年)即將走完第四個100年。過去很多人在談臺南如何「老」,卻很少人在談臺南如何「新」;很多人在談臺南的「城」,卻鮮少人在談臺南的「人」。
臺南的魅力,不只是在於這個城市本身,更重要的是住在這裡的人,將這個城市生活出獨特的味道。走向下一個百年,在臺南有很多具創意和夢想的年輕人,為了讓這個城市的歷史文化得以繼續傳承,美好感動能夠永久記錄,紛紛用各種方式投入資源及努力,嚐試將地方文化的保存及地方經濟的發展整合在一起,藉以創造地方生態系統的共生共榮,周榮棠先生就是一個很典型的範例。
麥可·波特與馬克·克瑞默在2011年所發表的「創造共享價值」論述,主張企業在面對或處理社會需求與問題時,應該從共享價值的角度出發,強調企業在創造利潤的同時,對社會也要能有所貢獻。這樣的觀念,顛覆了長久以來,企業經營以營利為目的的普世認知,提供企業領導人思考企業經營除了追求獲利之外,更深層的應該去省思企業的目的是為何而存在?企業「目的」目前已經成為一種潮流,是企業經營的新顯學,探討如何「創造共享價值」的議題對企業經營是具有重要的意義及價值。
本論文採哈佛教學個案方式撰寫,包含個案本文與教學指引兩部分,主要是要探討個案主角周榮棠先生如何從生態系統的角度,以創造共享價值的創新思維,定位自己事業發展的核心戰略;在他發展事業的每個階段是如何用心堅持,超前行動,發揮創業家精神,探索成功模式;如何整合自身所擁有獨特的異質性資源,運用資源基礎理論轉化成無可取代的競爭優勢;如何以服務主導邏輯觀
念,驅動客人共同參與價值創造的過程,建立具競爭力的價值主張,每個階段他到底是如何思考?又是如何抉擇?

Abstract
Tainan, the four-hundred-year-old city in upcoming 2024, which was cultivated by Dutch in 1624, the time they built the Fort Zeelandia (Anping Old Fort.) People were talking about the “old” city while few of them were noticing it’s “new”; people usually focusing on the “city” instead of the “people.”
Besides the city itself, the most attractive part of Tainan is about how their peo-ple live up to their unique life style. There are lots of creative young people with dreams, trying to preserve the culture and history, to permanently record the touch-ing moment, leading the city to next century. People invest resources trying to combine local culture and local economic development, Rong Tang, Zhou is a typical paradigm to create the ecosystem of regional revitalization.
Creating shared value (CSV) is a concept published by Michael E. Porter and Mark R. Kramer, they claims when a company is facing or dealing with social prob-lems, they should have creating shared value and contribute to the society while cre-ating profits. For a long time, people thinks running a business is to pursue profit. However, the concept reconceiving that a company should let a leader thinks more about why the business exists instead of put profit in the first place. The business “target” is now a trend, discussing how to create shared value is an important topic and a significant study for business management.
The thesis is written by case method and participant-century learning (PCMPCL,) which includes two parts, the case itself and guided instruction. We are going to explore how Rong Tang, Zhou creates shared value and positioning his business development strategic from the angle of ecosystem. How did he persist in his faith, take advance action, show his entrepreneurship, explore success model at each stage? How to integrate his own special heterogeneous resources from re-source-based perspective to turn into an irreplaceable competitive advantage? How to use service dominant logic concept to drive customer to participate in the process of value creation and establish competitive value proposition? How did he think dur-ing each stage and how did he make decision?
