創業是近年蓬勃發展的議題。然而,對於資源不充裕的物聯網創新產品設計團隊而言,應該依循何種設計流程與架構以及後續的開發與生產均為極大的挑戰,有鑑於此,本研究以典型的「通用產品設計流程」以及電子與高科技製造工業常見的「新產品導入流程(NPI process)」架構為依據,訪談一家新創團隊以及二家製造服務廠商,加上一位資深個人設計顧問,以探討實務上適合於物聯網創新產品設計開發的流程。結果發現,物聯網創新產品開發應該優先考量.電子與高科技製造工業所遵循的NPI流程、充分瞭解外在製造資源與限制以及與門當戶對的製造協力商合作,而具有機構設計及再學習能力的設計師是成員選擇時的關鍵,且產品開發募資在第一輪通常是以投資客為主,第二輪才是以群眾募資為目標。新創團隊應考量前述事項以降低風險與成本並促成創新。
Startup is a vigorous topic in recent years. However, for the IoT innovation product design team with insufficient resources, it is hard to decide which design process and architecture should follow, and the subsequent development and production provide great challenges. In view of this, this study uses a typical “general product design process”and “New Product Introduction process (NPI)” architecture common to the electronics and high-technology manufacturing industry, by interviewing a startup company and two design manufacturing service providers, with a senior personal design consultant to explore practical adaptations to the development process of Internet of Things innovation products. The study found that the development of IoT innovation products should give priority to the NPI process followed by the electronics and high-technology manufacturing industry, fully understand the external manufacturing resources and restrictions, and cooperate with the manufacturing partners of the door-to-door business. The designers with mechanical design and re-learning ability are The key to member selection, and product development fundraising is usually based on investment customers in the first round, and the second round is aimed at crowdfunding. The startup team should consider the aforementioned issues to reduce risk and cost and promote innovation.
