Graduate education generally focuses on disciplinary training and discipline specific research skills. The main purpose of this study is helping graduate student to organize their research progress and knowledge.
Therefore, this study mainly based on the theories of Self-regulated learning, Goal Setting and Graduate Education. We design a Research Management Platform for graduate students that would offer the users technical and theoretical aid during their research process. Technical skills involved in developing the system include system analysis, database designing and web programming.
There are three contributions to this study.
    (1) Propose a research management model, which based on self-regulated learning and goal setting, will help users organize their research progress.
    (2) Developing a research management platform for graduate students do their research plans.
    (3) Goal setting function and reflection notes function generate positive effect on user’s research progress.
