  • 「吼~疊到親像山,架澎湃,拜拜要用泰山八寶粥,這整罐真材實料……」,一個Local的廣告、一句日常生活的閒聊,突顯了泰山八寶粥傳統美食的地位,也創造了許多屬於六、七年級生的共同記憶。
    提到八寶粥,絕對會想起那獨特口感、清涼降火的泰山仙草蜜,1985年泰山轉換策略進入了內銷食品飲料市場,陸續推出了仙草蜜、八寶粥等產品,為泰山企業在食品市場中攻佔一席之地,成為了台灣家喻戶曉的領導品牌。
    泰山企業從1950年代發跡至今,從傳統的製油廠到現今成為台灣首屈一指的綜合食品加工業,靠的就是領導者精準的眼光及果斷的執行力;「老兵不死,只是凋零」述說著所有企業家的心聲,企業的傳承深深的影響著一家公司的命運,泰山企業已屹立逾七十個年頭,從和平的接棒到後來的家族內鬥,浮現出泰山企業公司治理上的問題,一場家族風波卻演變為企業經營權之戰,可能是詹家家族上上下下都始料未及的一頁。
    本研究採用哈佛個案方式進行撰寫,以泰山企業做為契機,探討企業經營的起、承、轉、合。本研究從創業家精神、企業轉型與接班人計劃、公司治理及企業併購等四個經營管理議題切入,分析企業在不同階段可能會遭遇到的問題,並探討企業面臨這些議題時,應該如何進行因應以達到企業的永續經營。

This TV advertisement and everyday conversation highlight the traditional culinary status of Taisun Mixed Congee and also create a collective memory belonging to the generations of the 1970s and 1980s.
    When it comes to Taisun Mixed Congee, people will definitely think of the unique texture and cooling effect of Taisun Honey Herbal Jelly. In 1985, Taisun adopted a new strategy to enter the domestic food and beverage market, launching products such as Taisun Honey Herbal Jelly and Taisun Mixed Congee. This move helped Taisun establish a strong foothold in the food market and become a well-known leading brand in Taiwan.
    Since 1950s, Taisun has evolved from a traditional oil mill to become one of Taiwan's leading integrated food processing companies. This success can be attributed to the precise vision and decisive execution of its leaders. The saying "old soldiers never die, they just fade away" expresses the sentiment of all entrepreneurs. The succession of a company deeply influences its fate. Taisun has stood for over 70 years, from peaceful succession to later family infighting, revealing governance issues in the company. A family storm has evolved into a battle for corporate control, which may be an unexpected page for the entire Taisun.
    This study is written using the Harvard case study method, focusing on Taisun as a case study to explore business operations. Based on the four management issues of Entrepreneurship, Business Transformation and Succession Planning, Corporate Governance, Merger and Acquisition, this study analyzes the problems that companies may encounter at different stages and explores how companies should respond to these issues to achieve sustainable operations.
