本論文是針對在日常生活中已不可或缺的GSM行動通信與GPS全球定位系統之整合做研究,並實現一個可因應多種不同應用需求之遠端監控硬體系統。
本論文所提之遠端監控硬體系統共可分為兩大部分,分別為GSM/GPRS模組部分與GPS模組部分。GSM/GPRS模組部分採用市售的通用模組來組成,而GPS模組部分則採用自行設計之模組來完成。
在規劃中,未來可開發相對應之應用軟體來搭配此硬體系統,以達成各種有遠端監控需求之應用。如車隊管理監控系統、醫療資訊監控系統、人身安全與急難救助監控系統等與民生相關之應用。
The purpose of this thesis is to focus on the study and develop of an integrated GPS/GSM system, which is a common hardware platform and could be use for many kinds of remote surveillance application.
Which the hardware platform it proposed is can be divided to two major portions, the one is the GPS module portion which is designed and implemented by oneself, and is use for receiving the coordinate information from GPS satellites; and the other is GSM/GPRS module portion which is use for transmit the coordinate data to remote side and receive the commands from remote side.
In the future planning, base on this hardware platform it can develop the corresponding application software for apply to many kinds of remote surveillance requirement, such as “A Feet Management System”, “Medical Information Surveillance System” or “Personal Navigation and Security System” and so on.
