The phenomenon of international student’s mobility is a subject that has been a researcher’s interest for some time. These students are pursuing their desired degree in hopes to gain better employment and better life overall in the host country. One country in particular that encourages internationalization in their national education system is Taiwan. As a result, thousands of aspiring international talents honed their skills in this country, with the goal of having a stable career path, and ultimately, integrate themselves into the community as one of their own.
This research focuses on analyzing whether international students’ Job Search Experience, English Language Proficiency, and Chinese Language Proficiency affected on their Intention to Stay in Taiwan post-graduation. Due to the nature of being an international student myself, and having the dilemma of job searching in a foreign country, this research is dedicated to look deeper into the issue.
Based on the results of quantitative research, it is concluded that Job Search Experience and English Language Proficiency have significant effect on students’ Intention to Stay in Taiwan. With Chinese Language Proficiency having no significant effect on the matter.
