摘 要
祥林科技股份有限公司創立於1998年，主要營業項目為：（1）.代理康寧光纜系統的光纖設備及材料；（2）.美國AURORA與AFL光纖量測儀表及光纖熔接機在台灣的相關銷售業務。祥林科技是台灣典型的中小企業，22年來，經歷了多次的產業榮枯與轉型，在2008年上半年，正當公司業務量大幅成長，股東決議要將代理業務，跨足製造業，並將自建廠辦，擴大經營之際，於2008年下半年美國爆發金融危機，引發國際金融海嘯，也影響國內銀行緊縮銀根。
公司與中華電信的主要業務又爆發與合作夥伴的商業糾紛，自建商業總部又因與銀行的土建融資資金銀行不再支持；同業覬覦公司經營權，希望能透過外界同業壓力，將公司的康寧代理權搶走，並將祥林科技併吞。公司總經理該如何在此生死存亡之際的關鍵時刻，帶領公司轉危為安，穩定員工情緒。在此內憂外患的情況下，將公司重新整頓、轉型再造，引領公司迎向下一個事業高峰!

探討問題包括，公司總經理在面對經營危機及重大決策時，該如何面對挑戰？尤其是台灣中小企業主，大都無法得到政府的政策輔導，與資金奧援，中小企業主該如何度過資金難關，進而在經營中，做出正確之決定。

本個案係採用哈佛個案教學方式撰寫，內容為探討台灣中小企業主，在遇到國際情勢劇變及經營環境不友善的情況下，如何面對挑戰並做出正確的因應策略，以提供中小企業主，在創業經營的過程中，面臨市場挑戰，或景氣衝擊時，可以化險為夷，引為借鏡。本研究可用於中小企業主在面臨商務糾紛時，資金籌集困難時，企業轉型時等相關議題之討論。

Sunny Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. (STC) was founded in 1998. The main business items are: (1) Acting for the optical fiber equipment and materials of Corning cable systems. (2) American AURORA and AFL optical fiber measuring instruments and fusion splicer related sales business in Taiwan. Sunny Fiber Technology is a typical Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Taiwan. Over the past 22 years, it has experienced many industrial prosperity, weakness and transformation. In the first half of 2008, Just as the company's business volume has grown substantially, shareholders decided to move the agency business to manufacturing, and set up their own factories to expand operations, The financial crisis that broke out in the United States in the second half of 2008 triggered the international financial tsunami and also affected domestic banks' tightening of money. Business disputes between Sunny Fiber Technology and work partners have resulted in failure to fulfill the contract with Chunghwa Telecom. The self-built business headquarters is no longer supported by the bank's civil construction financing funds. The industry covets the company's management rights and hopes to take away the company's Corning's agency rights through outside industry pressure and annex Sunny Fiber Technology. How should the general manager of the company lead the company into crisis and stabilize the mood of employees at this critical moment of life and death. Under the circumstances of internal and external concerns, the company will be reorganized, transformed and rebuilt to lead the company to the next career peak!
Discussion questions include, how should the company's general manager solve the problem when facing a business crisis and major decisions? In particular, most SME owners in Taiwan are unable to obtain government policy guidance, and with the aid of
funds, how can SME owners overcome the financial difficulties and make correct decisions in their operations.
This case use Harvard case teaching method to write. The content is to discuss how Taiwanese SME owners face challenges and make correct response strategies in the face of drastic changes in the international situation and an unfriendly business environment, so as to provide SME owners with a market in the process of entrepreneurship when challenged, or when the economy is impacted, it can weather the storm and used as an example.
