小陳是本個案JPT公司總經理,JPT公司成立於2015年6月,以供應餐飲使用濃縮式高湯原物料為主要營業項目,連鎖火鍋餐廳、拉麵店、日式餐廳、居酒屋、美式餐廳、義大利麵館、星級飯店餐飲等皆是服務的客群,屬於B to B的商業模式。
JPT公司有四位員工,為台灣典型傳統的微型企業,小陳總經理原是電機業工程師,於38歲開創JPT公司屬於中年創業,並且選擇與之前完全不同業種的行業,成為食品原物料供應商。
本個案討論JPT公司在面對失控的疫情持續升溫覆蓋全球下,如何進行公司的生存保衛戰,在整個餐飲市場因禁止內用後出現一片倒店潮,並在疫情持續肆虐下小陳總經理如何持續堅持,並進行經營策略調整讓這剛萌芽的微型公司繼續生存下去。
本個案採用哈佛個案教學方式進行撰寫,主為探討在微型企業經營歷經疫情重擊大環境快速變化下因應公司生存採取的因應對策與過程,提供微型企業在創業過程中,面臨全球性疫情重擊或突發災變導致景氣低迷時,可作為參考與借鏡。本研究可用於討論全球疫情、內部管理危機、數位化、競爭力…等等。


Chen is the general manager of JPT Company in this case. JPT Company was established in June 2015. Its main business is the supply of concentrated broth raw materials for catering. It chains hot pot restaurants, ramen restaurants, Japanese restaurants, Izakaya, American restaurants, and pasta. Food, star-rated restaurants, etc. are all the customer groups served, and belong to the B to B business model.
JPT Company has four employees. It is a typical traditional micro-enterprise in Taiwan. The general manager Chen was originally an engineer in the electrical industry. He founded JPT Company at the age of 38. It is a middle-aged entrepreneur. He chose a completely different industry from before and became a food producer. material suppliers.
This case discusses how JPT Company will carry out the company's survival defense in the face of the out-of-control epidemic that continues to heat up and covers the world. After the ban on internal use in the entire catering market, there is a wave of shop closures, and under the continuous epidemic situation, General Manager Chen How to persist and adjust the business strategy to keep this budding micro-company alive.
This case is written using the Harvard case teaching method. It mainly discusses the countermeasures and processes adopted by the micro-enterprises in response to the rapid changes in the environment of the micro-enterprises after the epidemic. Or when a sudden catastrophe leads to a downturn in the economy, it can be used as a reference and a mirror. This study can be used to discuss the global epidemic, internal management crisis, digitization, competitiveness...etc.
