人類的經濟體系中,「家族企業」是一種特殊,但是卻是極為重要的企業型態。全球許多知名企業在創業初期是一小規模的家庭事業,經過不斷的蛻變才能成為較不以人情和關係為結構的公司型態。因此家族企業對整個人類的經濟體系來說,有不可忽視的影響力。
在台灣,家族企業才是台灣經濟舞台上的主要演員。不論現為大集團、中大(小)企業在走過三、四十年歷史,家族及企業的生命延續,逐漸步入第二代或第三代,因此家族企業之傳承順利與否除與企業之永續發展有密切關係外,也同時影響著受僱員工與其家庭經濟來源,顯見家族企業成敗影響台灣經濟、社會、政治方面的發展。故本論文將探討了解家族企業與多角化經營策略執行成果,是否影響著家族企業經營績效與永續發展。
本論文以對個案公司採取深度訪談的方式進行研究,並且以企業多角化的相關理論、Michael Porter 五力分析的作為理論基礎,佐以個案公司SWOT分析,研究以從事人造纖維買賣家族企業的多角化的經營策略。
本論文的研究重點在於深入瞭解個案公司家族企業體質、成功多角化拓展方向,透過文獻探討以及深度訪談方法後,分析目前台灣傳統纖維紡織產業的狀況之下,個案公司如何成功地以家族企業的體質,拓展不同的事業版圖,提升企業內部整體的營運績效。本研究除了針對個案公司的因應策略以及其競爭優勢,並且提出具體的看法與建議,以此,希望能夠使管理階層和相關業者與專業經理人能作為參考。同時,期許本研究的結果,可供台灣的家族企業在擬定日後策略訂定及企業整體營運策略之參考。
In the human economy, family business is special and important enterprise. Many famous enterprises are small scale family economy unit and continuously transformation into big company. As the above, in Taiwan’s economic phenomenon, family business plays an important role. Over the past three or four decades, family business was through different generations of heritage to sustain management. In addition to that, family business affected employee family income. In Taiwan, we could say that better-run family business influenced on economic, social and political development. This research studied on the family business how to operate diversification strategy and then successfully improve business performance and even reaching the ideal of sustainable development. This thesis proposes a formal framework to discuss on the characteristics of family business how to lead the enterprise successfully expand the different business territory. The method to carry out in this thesis was using literature review, depth interview and data collection. In addition to the response strategy of the case company, its competitive advantage and specific suggestions, this thesis offers a reference direction to the professional managers. At the same time, the results of this study can be used for Taiwan's family business in the formulation of future strategy and corporate business strategy.
