  • 本文管理個案—快樂國民小學,位於臺灣東部成功縣,快樂國小班級數22班,學生數501人,為成功縣公立學校第五大的市區學校。因為是公立學校,成功縣也不是富裕的縣市,體制內的預算非常有限,可稱捉襟見肘。學校設備老舊,缺乏更新經費,而學校組織因為少子化長久以來處於較為安逸僵化的狀態。
    因為原來派任的校長因事件被改調,陳校長臨時被改聘至這所快樂國小,需面臨諸多困境及不斷的挑戰。透過個案的研討,可以讓學習者了解,在這樣的環境下,陳校長分析所處環境的優劣勢及機會點威脅點,發揮創業家精神,運用參與式領導並掌握顧客(即學生)未來的需求,創新思考順勢而為才能另闢新局。
    本研究採哈佛個案教學方式撰寫,包括個案內容和教師教學手冊兩部分,透過本論文,藉此培養領導者管理決策思維,遇到困境時如何客觀的分析,掌握的資訊比較其優劣,進而在日後碰到類似的狀況時,能從個案中獲得不同的啟發,增加思考的層面,以確保最後決策的執行成效。


    This management case study features Happy Elementary School, located in Chenggong County, Eastern Taiwan. It has 22 classes and 501 students, making it the fifth largest urban public school in Chenggong County. As a public dated school in a less affluent region, the school's budget is limited and lack of funding for old equipment updates. In addition, due to the declining birth rate, the school's organization state has been relatively steady and stagnant.
    This management case study features Happy Elementary School, located in Chenggong County, Eastern Taiwan. It has 22 classes and 501 students, making it the fifth largest urban public school in Chenggong County. In addition, due to the declining birth rate, the school's organization state has been relatively steady and stagnant.
    The current principal, Principal Chen, was temporarily reassigned to Happy Elementary School after the previous principal was involved in an incident. Chen faced many challenges and obstacles in this new role.
    Through this case study, learners can understand how Principal Chen analyzed the school's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in such a challenging situatioin. By exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit, utilizing participative leadership, and understanding the future needs of the students (the customers), innovative thinking was employed to turn the situation around.
    This study uses the Harvard case teaching method and includes both case content and a teacher's manual. Through this paper, leadership decision-making thinking is fostered, encouraging a rigorous and objective analysis of challenges while comparing information to assess the quality of potential solutions. By drawing inspiration from this case study, learners can enhance their critical thinking skills and ensure effective decision-making in future similar situations.
