群播與廣播服務(Multicast and Broadcast Service, MBS) 是第四代(4G)行動通訊系統的重要服務之ㄧ,提供這類MBS的基地台所形成的區域便稱為群播與廣播服務區域(MBS Zone),對於MBS的傳輸方式,可以藉由協調MBS Zone所屬的基地台同步傳送。
本論文延伸[12],提出於重疊群播與廣播服務區域的無線資源分配方法及預估資源的模型。本方法所提出之無線資源分配演算法與無線資源重新分配演算法,可以避免重疊群播與廣播服務區域下的資源分配衝突,也能符合不同頻寬需求的資源分配。並提出泛用型的資源預估模型。
模擬結果呈現,本論文所提出的演算法可降低重新分配的資源單位數目,並使得無線資源分配的複雜性降低,及預估資源模型的準確性。


Multicast and broadcast service (MBS) is a point-to-multipoint service where data packets are transmitted simultaneously from a single source to multiple destinations. In MBS, some BSs may form an MBS zone and transmit identical MBS contents simultaneously using the same modulation and coding. Hence, the network has to coordinate the transmission of BSs such that BSs belonging to multiple MBS zones may utilize non-conflict resource to transmit different MBS content. In [12], resource estimation model and radio resource allocation algorithms were proposed for the network operator to reserve and allocate the radio resource for a given number of MBS zones with identical bandwidth requirement. This paper extends the work in [12] for accommodating MBS zones with different service presence probabilities and various bandwidth requirements. Simulations were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.
