本研究合成新的含有雙三苯胺及多推電子基的芳香族聚醯胺,這芳香族聚醯胺的固有黏度為0.32~1.08(dl/g),且在有機溶劑中具有良好的溶解性,例如可溶於NMP、DMAc等溶劑。它們具有好的熱安定性,其玻璃轉化溫度在233~241℃之間,軟化溫度在224~236℃之間,而熱裂解溫度在熱重損失10%時溫度均在400℃以上,而在溫度為800℃時的殘餘率均有60%以上。在量測電致變色性質方面是利用光譜電化學的方法所測得,發現所有聚合物都有出現兩對氧化還原峰,而變色是從無色變為綠色再變為藍色,且都有良好的電致變色性質,以聚合物5a為例,其中在第一個氧化態時不只展現出良好的電致變色穩定性及變色效率(148cm2/C),且在波長為985 nm時具有高的對比它的光學穿透變化值為63%,在417 nm時光學穿透變化值為34%,在875 nm時光學穿透變化值為84%。在2000圈的on/off下,聚合物薄膜依然在電致變色性質上有良好的穩定性。
The novel of aromatic polyamides containing pendent methoxy moieties were prepared .These polyamides had inherent viscosities of 0.34-0.80 dL/g. All the polymers were amorphous with good solubility. The polyamides had useful levels of thermal stability associated with their relatively high glass transition temperature (233~241℃), 10% weight-loss temperature in excess of 400℃, and char yields at 800℃ in nitrogen higher than 60%. The electrochromic properties are examined by electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical methods. Cyclic voltammograms of the polyamide films were cast onto an indium-tin oxide (ITO) coated glass substrate exhibited two reversible oxidation redox couples in acetonitrile solution. They revealed excellent stability of electrochromic characteristics, with a color changing from colorless or pale yellowish neutral form to green and blue oxidized forms. Polyamide 5a didn’t only show excellent reversible electrochromic stability with good coloration efficiency of green (CE =148 cm2/C) but also exhibited high contrast of optical transmittance change (△T %) up to 34% at 417 nm and 63% at 980 nm for green, and 84% at 875 nm for blue. After over 2000 cyclic switches, the polymer films still exhibited excellent stability of electrochromic characteristics.
