本研究欲討論員工使用智慧型手機,為組織或個人生活帶來的影響,以及如何造成影響。透過資料分析整理,探索:(一)智慧型手機對於工作的影響。(二)智慧型手機使工作滲入生活造成的影響。(三)智慧型手機使生活滲入工作造成的影響。(四)智慧型手機如何使工作及生活相互滲入。
本研究採取質化研究,經由深度訪談,分析11名來自不同產業之員工的訪談記錄,探索員工於工作及生活使用智慧型手機的經驗。經由整理發現,於工作場域,智慧型手機具有三大特性:空間延展性、即時性、功能整合性;於職場中的社交關係則有以下影響:親者愈親、減少面對面溝通的壓力、形象維持與建立。
智慧型手機使工作滲入生活,使得員工提前瞭解工作狀況、工作負荷量增加、生活情緒受影響、家人互動減少。生活滲入工作則干擾員工工作狀態、調整員工情緒、帶來額外效益。而員工受以下因素影響,使得工作和生活相互滲入:公司制度、他人預期、自己的預期。
This study explored phenomenon that employees using smartphones, trying to comprehend the influences on employees work and life cause of using smartphones.
This study focused on smartphones use during work times and non-work times, and explored the effects by using smartphones : (a) effects on work times (b) effects on working events interfere with non-work times (c) effects on non-working events interfere with work times (d) how these effects occurred.
This study adopted qualitative method. The interview data showed that smartphones has three characteristics : spatial scalability, real-time, functional integration. Second, social relations in the workplace have the following effects : relationship to be closer or estranger , reducing the pressure of face-to-face communication, maintain and establish self-image. Third, this study found that smartphones lead to work interfere with life : enabling employees to advance understanding of work, workload increases, emotionally affected, and reduced family interaction. The study also found that smartphones lead to life interfere with work : adjusting staff emotions, bringing additional benefits. Moreover, this study found that“blurring line”occurred due to the corporate rule, culture, and others expectations.
