在現在高度全球化競爭的微利時代，電子製造業面臨到的挑戰與威脅無所不在，半導體封裝產業於電子製造業中屬於相當成熟的產業，從一個新產品的構想開始到設計、評估、生產、和後續的服務，如何在最短時間替客戶製造出符合成本和品質需求的產品，往往是客戶尋找封裝測試服務的最重要因素之一。在產品生命週期的每個階段，都有不同的機會與威脅，伴隨的是更複雜多樣的風險問題，本個案以A半導體封裝公司的某產品生產線為背景，探討半導體封裝公司在產品生命週期與工程發展管理過程中對於供應鏈風險問題。個案描述A半導體封裝公司在產品工程發展時期所採取的供應鏈選擇策略，和產品進入生產階段以後的供應鏈管理方法，在遇到始料未及的風險而被迫生產線停產時，專案經理小哆面臨供應鏈風險而必須對問題採取的對策和方法。本個案分為兩個主題，個案本文與教師手冊兩個部分。個案本文內容依照個案公司跟客戶間服務關係，以專案經理人的角色，在處理從產品導入期的供應鏈策略，工程評估流程，風險與危機發生以及部門間衝突時所面臨到的對策方法進行敘述。個案教學手冊可討論方向包含供應鏈管理、衝突管理、風險管理、產品生命週期管理等。

The challenges and threats is everywhere to the electronics manufacturing industry in today’s highly globalized and competitive micro-profit era. The semiconductor packaging industry is a part of and fairly mature industry in the Elec. manufacturing industry. Customers always look for an OSAT(outsourced assembly and test) partner who can bring up their product from concept thru design review, packaging assembly, qualification, production and to the market in the shortest time within all cost, quality, capacity and robustness criteria. There are opportunities and threats at every stage of product lifecycle, it also comes with challenges, complexities and uncertainties. This case use a story happened in the assembly production line of semiconductor packaging company-A as background and try to explore the supply chain risk during the product lifecycle and engineering development process. This case describes the supply chain strategy selected during the product development phase and the supply chain management in production phase, the product manager, Mutter Liao, her tactics and approach when the company is facing the crisis of production shutdown due to the unexpected risk from product end customer. This case is divided into two topics, the content of article and the teaching manual. The case content is based on the service relationship between company-A and its clients, by the viewpoint of product manager in dealing the supply chain strategy, engineering evaluation procedure, the conflicts induced by the crisis. The teaching manual leads the discussion of supply chain management, conflict management, risk management, product lifecycle management, etc.
