With the acceleration of urbanization and the increase of life pressure, the number of people suffering from mental health diseases such as depression, anxiety is increasing. “Forest therapy” has attracted wide attention owing to its roles of relieving stored-up physical and emotional tension, deepening environmental education and revitalizing rural communities, and meanwhile, relevant base construction has also become the focus of various countries. With the rapid development of the Internet, online reviews have become more and more important in tourism decisions. Previous studies used expert evaluation method and survey methods to construct indicated to forest therapy demonstration base, but no research has paid attention to tourists' online comments on forest therapy demonstration bases and the characteristics of the bases with which they are concerned. Therefore, this study aims to explores the impact online reviews on the National Forest Therapy Demonstration Base.
This research method is composed of text mining and quasi-experimental design. First, by using big data text mining technology, online reviews of forest therapy demonstration bases on the Google Map platform are selected, and a summary of visitors’ focus is on the destination image and satisfaction, and comparative analysis with for previous scholars and government research results, put forward reference suggestions to optimize the field. Afterwards, empirical analysis was carried out with a quasi-experimental design, and a design scenario was used to simulate the web browser search for online comments, to detect the behavior intention of the readers after reading the comment, and to explore the impact of "excellent forest therapy area" on the behavior intention of the comment browser.
The result of research I showed that the online comments of tourists focused on the natural beautiful scenery, characteristic scenic spots, facilities construction and current management status, and the developers should pay more attention to developing and publicizing relevant forest therapy activities. The result of research II showed that compared with the simulated forest therapy base, the ideal forest therapy base had a better effect to the behavior intention of browsers when they were viewing the online comments. The results of the study can be used as a reference for the operator to build a forest park therapeutic demonstration base.
