本研究之目的旨在探究簡易型電腦（Thin Client）在企業環境的適用性。首先，透過文獻之歸納整理，瞭解Thin Client的硬體功能特性、網路運算架構、Client端與Server端之間存取控制、適用時機、以及產生的效益等方面的應用準則。其次，我們分析企業資訊系統的幾個主要作業流程，網路安全規劃，並且從網路架構、應用系統平台、以及終端設備等三方面，分析各系統的資訊科技構成要素。然後，透過以上步驟之比較、分析，評估適用Thin Client的作業系統，並輔以個案研究之方法，藉由實地的調查訪問與直接觀察，實徵個案應用Thin Client的發展過程，驗證Thin Client的適用性，及個案中運用Thin Client發展行動辦公室。最後，綜合文獻探討與個案研究所獲得之結果，提供企業的相關參與者以及學術界，在導入Thin Client時有更深入的瞭解與認知，尤其是明瞭自由軟體如何影響Thin Client的成功因素；並希望對於正在規劃或未來有意導入Thin Client的企業，提供實務上參考的依據。

The purpose of this study was to explore the Thin Client in the enterprise Application environment. First，the literature codify understand Thin Client Hardware features， the Internet Architecture， Application for and the effectiveness Of the application of the criteria. Secondly， we analyze enterprise information Systems major operational procedures， and from the network infrastructure， Application platform， and terminal equipment， the analysis of the IT system Elements. Then， through the above steps for the comparison， analysis， evaluation Applied Thin Client operating system， and supplemented by case study method， Through field investigations and direct observation， empirical cases Thin Client Application development process， the certification Thin Client application. Finally， Comprehensive literature review and case studies was the result of the provision Of business related to participants and academics， Introduction of the Thin Client To have a more in-depth understanding and cognition; and hope for the future is in The planning or intention to import Thin Client enterprises， provide practical information on which to base.
