成衣紡織產業為紡織業中下游中加工層次及附加價值最高者,是台灣早期重要的產業項目之一,但隨著台灣產業轉型國內勞動力不足而逐漸外移至新興國家。成衣製造代工廠商面臨選擇成長策略時,會因應企業本身的核心能耐差異而作出不同的抉擇。
本研究採用個案研究方法,以個案公司為研究對象,從核心能耐觀點探討在面臨成長時所選定之策略思考過程。本研究之研究結論如下:
一、個案公司之核心能耐為具有技術純熟之開發製版能力,以此提高對競爭者之模仿障礙,並透過對應不同客戶及產品之過程累積經驗更新能耐建構及增進能耐建構延伸,保持競爭優勢。
二、個案公司具備整合供應鏈及給予客戶一站式服務,以此創造價值並建立長期合作關係。
三、個案公司選定以委外加工為成長策略是憑藉其專注於核心業務,評估本身之核心能耐及資源後,採取最適合之委外加工為成長策略執行。


The extent of downstream processing and value-added services is high in the textile and clothing industry, which is one of the important industrial projects in Taiwan. However, given the shortage in domestic labor, Taiwan's industrial transformation gradually moved outside of emerging countries. The growth strategy choices of enterprises in the clothing, manufacturing industries are affected by their respective and varying core competence.

This study used a case study approach to the growth strategy of garment industry through outsourcing processing from the perspective of core competence. The conclusions of this study are specified in the succeeding paragraphs.

First, we examined companies with the core competence to develop the plate and raise barriers against their competitors as well as the competence to accumulate experience and increase their competence in construction. These capabilities enable companies to maintain a competitive advantage among different customers and products.

Second, a company should establish an integrated supply chain and provide their customers with a one-stop service to enable them to create value and to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with them.

Third, a company should carefully select cases for outsourcing to facilitate its growth strategy. This objective can be achieved by focusing on the core business and by assessing the core competencies and resources that will be subcontracted. These competencies should be suitable to the growth of policy enforcement.
