This study mainly discusses that the empirical analysis of factors in operation performance among incubatees in incubation center of Taiwan from 2007 to 2011.
Results reveal that the operation performance of incubatees are mainly affected by market experience, incubatee duration, contract period, capital, employee, interdisciplinary, innovative firm, incubator region, incubator type, gender, owner’s education and so on. This study finds that the innovative incubatees or the market experience of incubatees have significantly positive impacts on the operation performance. Moreover, if the incubatees engage in interdisciplinary, the result is significant negative. This study also finds that the government type of incubations has significantly negative impact. It is possible that the transference of knowledge and technologies are worse, so this situation causes the limit of knowledge spillovers. Besides, the incubatee owners are male or they have better education has significant negative on the operation performance.
