  • 藉由自行設計而製作出的低功率無線式資料手套進行手勢的擷取,並建立數位手語資料庫。
    在辨識演算法上,本篇論文提出將手語辨識視為動作檢索之問題;根據使用者打出的手語,於資料庫中搜尋出最相似的連續動作,並辨識為其相對應的手語詞彙。


    We propose a sign language interpretation system to help deaf-mute people communicate with people in their daily life using data gloves. With the data glove, we can collect the motion features and use the features to build a database. As for the retrieval algorithm, we treat sign language recognition as a motion retrieval problem.When the user make a word of sign language with data glove, we retrieve the sign word from the collected continuous motion sequence.
