本研究係探討一系列Gemini界面活性劑之合成及界面性質,以聚乙二醇、環氧氯丙烷及月桂醇為原料合成非離子界面活性劑及Gemini界面活性劑。合成產物以FT-IR及1H-NMR確認其分子結構。並探討一系列合成產物之界面性質,包括表面張力、CMC、接觸角、乳化力等界面性質。
結果顯示此系列界面活性劑具有良好界面活性,包括表面張力、濕潤性及乳化穩定性,且有較低的起泡性和泡沫穩定性。其中Gemini界面活性劑其界面活性隨著EO基的增加而增加,然而非離子界面活性劑隨著EO基的增加而相反。
In this study, two series of surfactants were prepared and the surface activities were investigated. The nonionic surfactant and Gemini surfactant were prepared by the reaction of Polyethylene Glycol, Epichlorohydrin and Dodecanol. The structure of these surfactants has been confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and the surface activities were evaluated by surface tension, critical micelle concentration, contact angel, emulsification ability.
The experimental results showed that these surfactants exhibited excellent surface activities properties including surface tension, wetting power, emulsification stability, and possessed lowly foaming and foam stability. The activities of Gemini surfactant increase with the increase of EO group chain length, while the results of nonionic surfactant were opposite.
