企業在面對微利時代的來臨,無不努力調整經營重心,設法從「製造」走向附加價值較高的「研究、發展」與「行銷、服務」做為其主要的策略。為求企業之永續經營,新興的資訊科技產業是如此,即便是傳統的機械製造產業也不例外。
本研究採個案研究方法,係以一家生產機械停車設備產品的廠商為例,並以多層循環式設備為研究對象。由於該型設備在邁入磨耗失效期之故障率偏高,造成顧客滿意度降低。直接影響了售後服務品質,同時也對產品產生負面評價,間接影響了銷售業績。為提升該企業對於機械停車設備產品的服務績效,增加售後服務的附加價值,必須從關鍵的「降低故障率」問題來著手,找出有效的解決方案。
經由維修方面的資料蒐集,同時也參酌國內外相關的文獻。在分析過設備之故障因素後,從管理層面採取「持續改善」的方法,並由技術層面實施「組織學習」的模式,以雙管齊下的方式來進行設備故障率之改善。同時記錄設備故障率之變化,以實務方式驗證理論基礎,找出合於該企業適用的策略。以期能進一步類推至其他屬性相似的產品上。


Faced with a time of decreasing profit margins, enterprises must now redirect their focus from “manufacturing” toward the higher value added areas of “research & development” and “marketing & service.” For sustainable operation, not only does the emerging industry of information science and technology need to make adjustments, but also the industry of traditional machine manufacturing.
This research uses the case study method on a multi-circulating type device from a case company that manufactures mechanical car-parking systems. The failure rate of the multi-circulating type device after field operation for a long period of time is higher than a new device because of stepping into wear-out failure period, resulting in decreased customer satisfaction. Not only did the higher failure rate directly affect after-service quality but also resulted in the product receiving negative feedback from clients, in addition to influence to sales performance. Therefore, “reducing the failure rate” is the key factor in developing an effective solution for improving the company’s service performance and for enhancing the added value of their mechanical car-parking system after services.
Maintenance-related data as well as related domestic and foreign literatures were collected to conduct a failure mode analysis on the multi-circulating type device. Results from the analysis suggest that simultaneously executing managerial “continuous improvement” and technical “organizational learning” would be the most effective solution in improving failure rate. Meanwhile, recording the variation of equipment failure rate and verifying with reliability theory is a practical way determines a suitable strategy for the enterprise. This strategy can then be applied to other products with similar characteristics.
