若電子代工廠商想在成熟的市場維持競爭優勢,勢必要增強其技術能力。在過去的研究中,多以單一部門或單一事業群呈現營運績效,未觀察企業整體營運績效之變化。有鑑於此,本研究利用系統動態學,透過「跨部門、跨事業群」的方式來建構企業之(i)資金配置決策模型、(ii)技術鑑價模型以及(iii)技術合盟模型。系統動態學具備高階複雜、因果回饋、非線性、環環相扣、滯延等特性,本研究之三大模型可以反應各部門資金配置決策對於企業績效的真實回饋,並有效模擬五大元件之技術鑑價,以及分析複雜動態之技術合盟系統所產生的效益。此個案公司是全球委托設計與製造之主要廠商,本研究針對企業之資金配置決策及技術交換之效益議題進行探討,同時利用田口方法分析單一事業群及兩個事業群的營運模式之參數設計對於技術授權金的影響,以尋找最佳的技術鑑價之參數組合。
In a competitive original design manufacturing (ODM) business, firms continue to strengthen their technology capability to retain competitiveness in the market. Previous studies examined business operation performance from the perspective of a single department or a single business unit (BU). Instead, this research takes cross-department and cross-BU perspective by using system dynamics simulation in which (i) strategic capital allocation, (ii) technology valuation, and (iii) technical cooperation are investigated. The proposed model using system dynamics has the characteristics of business causal loop multiplicity, nonlinear, dealing uncertainty and events with time delay to reflect capital investment decisions for each BU on the basis of real-time feedback from business performances. A case study is conducted for a worldwide leading ODM firm. The proposed model effectively accesses the technology valuation of five key components of the firm, and examines the profit changes from a complex dynamics of a technical cooperation protocol. This research solves the performance issue regarding capital allocation and technology cooperation. Meanwhile, the experiments conducted using Taguchi experiment design examine the impact of key parameters to technology transfer revenues from two levels of business operations: a single-BU system and a two-BU system. Our study facilitates to determine the optimal settings for technology valuation in these two business operating systems.
