過去數十年間,全球競爭之態勢明顯加劇,競爭的洪流釋放了創新能力,加速進步的節奏。而近年來隨著科技的日新月異及消費者需求型態的改變,具個人化特質的產品或服務越來越受到顧客的喜愛,企業在面臨這瞬息多變的趨勢,意識到這是企業存續危急之際,必須在兼顧成本與個人化效益的目標之下,找尋可行之道,於是大量客製化生產的經營模式因應而生。
企業為回應多變的顧客需求,已不能再沿用過去傳統的生產模式,必須朝向以顧客需求為導向的大量客製化的生產方式發展。在滿足每一位顧客需求的基本條件下,透過彈性和快速反應以達成產品的多樣性和客製化,並藉由導入大量客製化相關的手法,如延遲理論,敏捷製造與供應鏈管理等,以達成大量客製化的目標並建立起競爭者進入障礙,使能在顧客導向的競爭環境中,重新建立企業競爭優勢。
本研究藉由對現行電腦準系統產業的分析,以及探討企業在面對競爭的環境上,如何以大量客製化的觀念,輔以延遲理論,敏捷製造與供應鏈管理等相關手法,發展出具競爭力的新企業經營模式,期能強化企業的核心競爭力。


In the last decades, global competition has significantly increased along with the fast growing competition has boosted technology innovation. Personalized products or services become preferred to customers because of changes on consumer purchasing behaviors. Industries not only face the changing but also sense the possible risk in the future. However, both of cost and personalization will be very crucial issues to deal with. As a result, the concept of mass customization is getting matured.
To satisfy for satisfying customer various needs and wants, Industry should adapt orient itself towards increasing customer satisfaction and develop the ability of producing mass customization products. In order to quick response to different customer need, the flexibility and speed becomes two important criteria to winning orders. Today, many new paradigms in the field of operations management are emerging, such as Postponement Theory, Supply Chain Management and Agile Manufacturing. The foundation of mass customization theory becomes mature and also accepts by practitioners as a necessary goal for a company to regain its competitive advantages-made production. In satisfying customer, Industry’s elastic and sensitive reactions the various products and customization. Mass customization techniques input such as Delay Theory, Agile Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management reach the goal and create the technical entry obstacles so industry can offered the practical solutions in the customers’ orientation market.
This study takes the computer bare bone industry as the focused research subject, to establish the implementation strategies for realizing mass customization in its business model. The proposed approach based on the aforementioned new paradigms, and should have extensive contributions in creating core competences for each involving parties. This is subject to the analysis in current computer bare-bone and industry competitive and change able environment. Hence, shall submit new and not easy to simulate management modes progress the operation of production management and strengthen its core competence.
