本研究對建設公司之財務績效進行評估，為了使經營者及投資者能淺顯易懂，研究中將績效優劣以數值零至一百之方式呈現，以績效值之概念呈現公司之績效表現，財務績效值可了解公司之績效表現，經營型態也依績效值優劣而相異，因此，藉由績效值可分析建設公司之經營特性，藉此了解績效值與經營特性之關係。本研究以主成分分析法與集群分析法，作為探討績效及分類之方法，並將其分為兩種模式進行分析與比較。分析結果顯示，集群分析將建設公司分類，並將各群組績效值區間區分出，以判別績效優劣，但各群組區間之績效值重複，無法將績效區間明確區別，導致群組之指標較無法判斷其群組之特性；而依績效值分佈進行分類之模式，不但能清楚判別各群組績效好壞，其指標分佈更是能區分出群組之特性。最後，依各群組特有之財務特性，探討各群組所呈現之經營屬性為何，以作為往後投資與決策的有效依據。

Making good use of performance assessment can increase company competitive advantage by providing self-evaluation and ranking and improving business strategy. this study assess finance performance of Construction Industry, this method investigate performance and classification with Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis then analysis two Mode. First type of performance evaluation calculate digital distributed with Principal Component Analysis then classification at once. Second type of performance evaluation calculate and calculate digital distributed with Principal Component Analysis and Cluster Analysis. Finally, Analysis reasonableness of product. The product appear of modes, Second type groups have large differences and he digital in a mess, feature determine is difficulty. Contrast of first type, this can know Traveller Rating by performance evaluation, and groups decide meaning by financial Indicators. Finally, The model in this research can provide detailed indicator component and performance evaluation of the assessed company, Investment decision making construction industry.
