利用具有高密度胺基的高分子,聚乙烯亞胺(polyethylenimine)與兩種還原醣(麥芽糖和乳糖)分別進行接枝反應(conjugation),利用兩種方法:TNBS 與間苯二酚-硫酸法加以分析接枝數,接著分析接枝後的性質,利用鹽酸滴定來分析化合物對酸鹼的緩衝能力(buffering capacity),結果發現,接枝率愈高,在酸鹼滴定時,對酸鹼的緩衝能力愈差,也就是說在加入相同量的質子時,接枝率愈高,pH 值的變化愈大。
We used one kind of polymer with high density amine groups :polyethylenimine. Polyethylenimines conjugated with two kind of reducing sugars, maltose and lactose, respectively. Then we used TNBS and resorcinol/sulfuric methods to determine the amounts of conjugation. Finally, we analyzed the buffering capacity of all samples by titration with hydrochloric acid. The same amount of protons were added into these samples, the variation of pH value was larger when the conjugation ratio was higher. So higher conjugation ratio will make lower buffering capacity.
