  • 隨著科技的不斷進步,元宇宙正成為當今最為熱門的話題之一。元宇宙是一個虛擬的數位化世界,融合了虛擬實境、擴增實境和區塊鏈等技術,為人們提供了一個全新的互動體驗和社交平台。元宇宙的興起正在引發人們對於虛擬與現實交錯的未來幻想。Meta公司近年致力於發展元宇宙相關的技術並拓展這方面的業務,從一開始的知名社交平台Facebook,逐漸轉變成以元宇宙為核心的科技公司。在不捨棄原有的產品與服務下,嘗試結合新技術為用戶打造全新的社交體驗。
    本研究將利用歐洲專利資料庫收集Meta公司的專利資料,以專利分類號及發明人為分析項目進行分析。透過概況性分析、技術佈局分析、及差異分析觀察Meta公司研發活動上變動的狀況。
    本研究亦證明專利資料在觀察一間公司轉型上的改變是一個可靠的參考指標。透過分類號及發明人產出不同的統計分析圖表,能把公司整體研發狀況呈現出來,亦能找出公司轉型前後之重點研發技術領域及研究團隊之變動,甚至推測公司未來發展方向。


    With the continuous advancement of technology, the Metaverse is becoming one of the hottest topics today. Metaverse is a virtual digital world that integrates technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality and blockchain to provide people with a brand new interactive experience and social platform. The rise of the Metaverse is triggering people's fantasy of a future where virtual reality and reality are intertwined. In recent years, Meta has devoted itself to developing Metaverse-related technologies and expanding its business. It has gradually transformed from a well-known social platform, Facebook, into a technology company with Metaverse at its core. Without abandoning the original products and services, try to combine new technologies to create a new social experience for users.
    This research will use the European patent database to collect the patent information of Meta Company, and analyze it with the patent classification number and inventor as the analysis items. Observe the changes in Meta's R&D activities through general analysis, technical layout analysis, and difference analysis.
    This study also proves that patent information is a reliable reference indicator for observing changes in a company's transformation. Through the different statistical analysis charts produced by classification numbers and inventors, the company's overall R&D status can be presented, and key R&D technology areas and changes in the research team before and after the company's transformation can be found out, and even the company's future development direction can be speculated.
