Chemical industry is one of the industries that very important to the world. Hopax is one of the companies that entering chemical industry as business. To find new opportunities, expand to other countries becomes one of the options. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze international strategy of Hopax Indonesia. This paper using case study as the method to analyze Hopax Indonesia.
There were opportunities that Hopax could gain for expand to Indonesia. Those were because a great growth of Indonesian economy, location advantages, and lower labor cost. They use a global strategy as their strategy corporate level. Hopax used a wholly owned subsidiary as a method to enter Indonesia. Now they are able to export their products to other countries. The strategic competitive outcomes also been made after knowing their consumers and competitors. At the recommendation's portion we show some suggestions for Hopax's leader that can be helpful for taking the decision in future.
